Some of the most important steps in common rail injector repair and modification are the measurements!  If you can master this, the final bench testing will almost always come out perfect.  We double measure every parameter and triple measure some of them using competing brands of gauges.  The importance of this could never be stressed enough.   These photos above only cover 3 of the over  10 measurements needed for proper calibration and set up.  One type of armature lift, solenoid air gap and pintle lift are shown.  Special fixtures and gauge blocks are needed.  Please click on the photos for further information.
